Dreamy Wedding with Nostalgic Southern Traditions

This wedding day was filled with so many fun moments. Laney & Avery are college sweethearts that met in the middle on St. Simons Island for their wedding day. Surrounded by their friends, the couple hosted a truly southern affair right down to the quaint church ceremony and backyard reception festivities.

Laney opted for an elegant yet modern ballgown and fingertip veil that screamed classic bride. The bridesmaids and groomsmen wore all black as a nod to the winter season and chilly weather. Florals were classic, whites mostly.

From the band to the fun late night snacking, this wedding was the perfect blend of classic and trendy. We even had a chance to hear the Phi Mu “Picture a Girl” serenade across the dance floor right before the couple’s epic sendoff with cold sparks and 1980’s getaway car.
